President's Message
Folks have been asking "Is LPS on this year?" After 16 years I figured that most people know that the 2nd Saturday of July is Leonard P. Weekend. We're a little late getting the message out this year but I don't doubt many of you had already marked July 9h off on your calendars. Well, wait no further... Click the link and register!

The catering and the 1:00 shotgun start went over really well last year so we decided to keep these for this year. We've changed caterers to L&L out of Stirling as we've had many great meals from them. Fees this year are holding at $75 for golf, dinner, and prizes. If you are bringing someone to the dinner or if you're just coming to the party, $15 is appreciated to cover costs (see Kirsten at the party if this applies to you).

Thank you to all who donated prizes last year and an thank you in advance to folks bringing prizes this year. The curling boys have once again donated some prizes to the LPS coffers and George at TST Liquidation (Hwy 62 in Belleville) has offered some goods as well. An extra special thank you goes out to Theo Underhill for our wonderful shirts last year... FYI all LPS shirts, past and present, have been generously donated by Theo. Pull out your old LPS swag for this year's tourney to show off to the ladies how long you've been coming.

This is what it's all aboutNote for parents: we've got a bigger pool now and we hope to get the blow-up waterslide going so be sure to bring the little ones' bathing suits and a change of clothes. Big kids may want to swim too, but be sure to pee over the side and not in the pool.

Finally, thanks again to Peter Casselman for his ongoing work on the website.

See you on the 9th!
